Unit 19 Parkwest Industrial Estate

Unit 19 Parkwest Industrial Estate

In March 2007, our client DTL (Drink Trade Logistics Ltd) instructed Jones Lang LaSalle to sell its warehouse facility in Parkwest Industrial Estate.

The proposed sale represented quite a challenge due to the significant size of the facility and the limited pool of potential purchasers.

The overall facility comprised a modern detached warehouse with 12 dock levellers and three grade-level loading doors. Eaves height is 9.14-metres.

Also included as part of the sale was fully fitted-out two-storey office accommodation with features such as suspended ceilings, fluorescent lighting and perimeter trunking incorporating CAT 5 cabling. The floor area of the combined office accommodation and warehouse facility totals 8,782m².

Despite the scale of the challenge presented to us, within two months of launching the marketing campaign we had succeeded in securing a buyer who paid in excess of €14.5 million for the facility.

Not only was the speed of this sale quite exceptional, it also serves to highlight our ability to secure a very high sale price for industrial buildings that are anything but ‘run of the mill’ in terms of either their size or their fit-out.
